OUR EDITORIAL APPROACH

How we write and update our guides

Our process for checking instructions, citing sources, and correcting published guides.

Checking instructions

We check ShareGo instructions against the relevant app code, including connection actions, file selection, and received-file handling. For system settings and platform features, we consult the documentation from Apple, Android, or the service involved and link to it in the article.

Sources and device tests

The current guides are based on implementation and documentation reviews. They do not report hands-on transfer tests. Device behavior may differ by model, system version, and app version.

When we publish a test result, we will include the devices, versions, files, and conditions used. A speed measurement applies to those conditions; it does not establish the speed of every transfer.

Dates and revisions

We update instructions when the app or platform changes, or when a correction identifies a missing or inaccurate step. The article date shows publication or the latest substantive revision. Formatting changes do not reset it.

Report a correction

Contact the ShareGo team with the article link, the step that differed, and your app and system versions. Include the error message if there was one. Please omit private files and live connection codes.
